Barclaycard

In 2005 as part of its CR activities, Barclaycard launched, their community programme-Horizons, which is a unique community investment program that helps disadvantaged lone parents make the transition out of debt and poverty.

Good Values was charged with reviewing the programme after the first two years and to make recommendations for Years 3-6 to ensure Horizons strategically maximized the benefits for all stakeholders and deliver a greater sustainable impact.

Via utilising Good Values ‘Social Leadership Model™, we helped Barclaycard implement key recommendations to the initial programme to ensure Horizons delivered a greater impact for Barclaycard, the charity partners (Citizens Advice Bureau, Gingerbread and Family Action) and the lone parents.

Barclaycard’s Horizons programme has won the 2010 Third Sector Excellence Award for Corporate Partnerships

Third Sector Excellence Awards

With their combined expertise of the social sector and their innovative approach, Good Values has guided the development of our Horizons’ Social Investment project to make it more impactful and leave a lasting social legacy.
